Fort Whyte Field Trip

Been a while since we posted an update – but things definitely haven’t been slow in our world.  Kendall had a field trip to the Fort Whyte Centre in Wpg near the end of May and I was lucky enough to tag along.

Piano Recital

Both Kendall and Gavin started piano lessons this year.  It really is amazing how far they have progressed in such a short time!  They had a recital the first week in December and performed wonderfully!

Gavin’s Birthday Soccer Party

Well our little “sports fiend” wanted to play soccer for his birthday.  So how do you do that in December in MB?  You rent the school gym of course!  Had a great time and the boys played till the dropped

Remnants of Summer

Here are a few pictures that bring back summer memories.  Didn’t get a chance to post these in any of the other videos.  What’s REALLY exciting in this one is the cliff jumping that Kendall and Gavin do.

Pumpkin-pa-looza

I was lucky enough to be invited to help Kendall’s grade 3 class carve pumpkins.  First they had to do a bunch of “estimations” on size and how many seeds were inside – then they had to measure the pumpkin and count the seeds.  Lot’s of fun.  Here are a few pictures from the morning.

Tubing

So with the AMAZING weather we’v been having this summer – it’s fair to say we have spend a good deal of time at the cabin.  It also means I have more than a few pictures and video of Kendall and Gavin spending hours at the end of a rope having fun on the tube.  Hard to beat this for summer fun.
